Emma Nesbitt took to the stage to host the Defence 101: a panel discussion with industry experts, which included DefenceNT, Master Builders,  Office of Defence Industry Support, Industry Capability Network NT,  Chamber of Commerce and Manufacturers Council, NTIBN, and AIDN. We also heard case studies of how two Territory businesses secured works within Defence from CollNT and Wurrba.

Thanks to the team at October Business Month and the Small Business Champions for bringing this event to life.

The opportunities to work with Defence are coming fast, and growth of the Territory will be assisted by Defence engaging with our capable SMEs. Thanks to Master Builders NT for having Emma hold a workshop on “Getting Defence Ready” at the Women in Construction & Co forum, alongside Maddalyn McBeath from the Industry Capability Network – Northern Territory (ICN NT)

DIN is held monthly to bring together businesses that are either involved in or positioning themselves for defence industry opportunities in the Northern Territory. It’s a great place and opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore the evolving landscape of this dynamic sector.
